- An introduction to the system of activities that constitute marketing:
- product or service planning and development, pricing, promotion and
- distribution, with emphasis on the principles, policies and strategies
- utilized to satisfy the needs and wants of the consumers and society.
- Prerequisites: ACCT 2013, ECON 2013, 2023 or consent of the instructor

- Management of distribution functions such as purchasing, transporta-
- tion, storage, packaging, and handling. Focuses on the charact-
- eristics, functions, and interrelationships of the producer, trans-
- portation, retail, and wholesale institutions in the marketing
- channel. Prerequisite: MKTG 3033.
